My Wild Things.
It looks like we’re going to be staying home for a couple weeks. I’m pulling out some favorite printables and trying to find new ways to use them. We used my Forest Friends printable to create masks from a favorite book, Where the Wild Things Are! This really got their imaginations going. First we looked at each wild thing and tried to figure out what elements of different creatures they all had. Then we each chose a Forest Friend mask and added some wild bits from other critters!
Betsy wanted hers to have red hair and horns. Maisy wanted hers to still be beautiful so she added a plume of peacock feathers to the top of her deer mask. I added a beak and some feathers to my fox face. There has been a lot of roaring and gnashing and eye rolling and claw showing the past few days!
